  So the first of any care homes I had been to...looking for my nan...what a scary guy.. first alarm bells rang when I called up the home and he said that My Nan was already admitted without my say so or a visit to see the room... later on in the story becomes more clear why I was so worried about this part of the story he proceeded to tell me about how much money I would need to keep My Nan in the home and she would need more care then he could provide for the amount of money a council would be able to give them and he would refuse My Nan he said she is coming to the home to die. My nan is not on palative care...later on I thought back to earlier conversation... why would he accept My Nan without us seeing the room? was he thinking that she was one of them that was going to go there to die and their family wouldnt visit? so they wouldn't care about the state of her in the room? I recoile within myself in horror at what this guy was telling me that basically My Nans care was down to funding I knew this to be true in certain senses of the word but never thought that my first home would be so cut throat. He then proceeded to tell me that my nan's room would be quite away away from the nurses station and he could pick and choose how many carers he had on at any given time this led me to believe that it was down to money. If I had all the riches in the world I would never leave my nan there I would advise against this home in all aspects compassion in love and In thinking about your loved ones before they pass. To give credit to the guy who has bought this place back from the gutter but I still think he needs to remember his roots and why he got into this kind of work in the first place.

  The staff are concern in their residents, real passion to assist, help and nurture. They will go an extra mile in their service.
  
  Some of the facilities are outdated or needs to be replaced but the total service is excellent!
